Terms and Conditions - Applicable to all Workout Away bookings.
If we cancel your trip due to COVID-19, you will be presented with alternative re-booking options. If those options do not suit you, you will be entitled to a refund which will be processed within ten days.
If your area is placed into a local lockdown and you can not travel, you are eligible for a full refund. To be eligible, you must be living in an area that has been placed under local lockdown by the Indian government, or your national government if you are living overseas.
Our COVID promise supersedes our standard refund terms and conditions for any trip that is impacted by COVID-19.
All Workout Away trips must be paid for in full at the time of booking. All travel bookings are processed online at our website, and confirmation is produced immediately upon successful payment. Payments secure your accommodation and activity, meal and workout combination only. Flights or any additional extras not advertised or outlined in our programme e-brochures are not included.
All payments are processed by our payment provider Stripe. We accept payment by Visa Credit, Visa Debit, MasterCard and American Express.
Visas and Travel Documents
You are personally responsible for ensuring that you are in possession of the correct travel documents before participating in a Workout Away holiday. For all of our overseas trips, you will be required to hold a valid passport. Some countries require six months validity remaining on your passport. Please check the requirements before travelling.
Some of our programmes such as Goa, India will require you to hold a tourist visa before entry if you are not an Indian national. Workout Away is unable to assist with any visa applications. Visa applications and costs incurred are at the traveller's sole responsibility.
If you cancel - You will receive a 50% refund if you cancel your Workout Away trip within twelve weeks of the programme commencing. Between twelve and eight weeks prior to the commencement date, you will receive a 25% refund. Within the eight week period before programme commencement, we are unable to refund any part of your booking.
You should notify us of your intention to cancel your booking via this link Cancellation or Amendment Notification Form. A member of our team will then contact you to process your refund payment. We will accept your cancellation notification on the day that you submit the online cancellation form.
If we cancel - It is never our intention to cancel a programme but should unforeseen circumstances arise, and your programme is cancelled, you will be entitled to a full refund or transfer to another programme of the same value. We are unable to reimburse any costs associated with your travel or other accommodation in the event that we cancel your booking. Claims should be made through your travel insurance provider. We will provide you with a documentation outlining the booking cancellation to assist you with your claim.
We strongly recommend that you purchase adequate travel insurance in preparation for any travel. Many personal insurance policies or health care plans do not cover overseas travel. Workout Away does not provide or assist in the provisions of travel insurance. It is the sole responsibility of the guest.
Video and Photograph Release
I grant Workout Away Ltd (UK) the irrevocable right and permission to use photographs and/or video recordings of me on their website, social media channels and advertising, or for similar purposes without any personal compensation. I understand and agree that such images or video recording of me could be published on the internet. I waive the right to approve the final product prior to any publications. I also understand that any video or image content remains the property of Workout Away Ltd (UK).
I hereby release, acquit and forever discharge Workout Away Ltd (UK), its employees or contractors from any claims, demands, rights, promises, damages and liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use or distribution of all content outlined above, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, appropriation of likeness or defamation.
Your Responsibilities and General Waiver
Prior to commencing any Workout Away programme, you are required to complete certain documents. Upon a successful reservation, you will be sent a link to complete the PARQ Physical Readiness Questionnaire and the Informed Consent Form. You must declare that the information given in these forms is factual and truthful and confirm that if necessary, you have taken medical advice and your doctor has agreed that you should exercise.
By participating in a Workout Away Programme, you agree that your programme may include aerobic exercise, resistance exercise and flexibility exercises. I realise that in participating in these activities, I may be at risk of injury and even the possibility of death. I hereby confirm that I am participating voluntarily. You also agree that you waive your rights to any action against Workout Away Ltd (UK) as a result of any loss or damage to any property or you as an individual during a Workout Away holiday.
Whilst we will take all reasonable steps to ensure that your programme delivery is as advertised, we take no responsibility should a third party, service provider or contractor modify or change their service offering. Any deviations from our service providers will be investigated appropriately.
